I just finished Spit & Passion by Cristy C. Road and I really enjoyed that bc literally it was my life growing up as a Cuban lesbian in Miami!!! Also the art is rad.
I’m gonna name the obvious Bechdel novels (I love both Are You My Mother? and Fun Home don’t let anyone tell you that Are You My Mother? is worse it’s just v different), but I also really like The Essential Dykes To Watch Out For. It’s interesting to see her views change as she progresses through time bc she worked on those comics for like, 21 years I think.
Marbles: Mania, Depression, Michelangelo, and Me is currently on my to read list, so I can’t saw anything on it yes but it definitely exists!!
there are also tons of webcomics out there with lesbian protagonists or central characters!! i, unfortunately, never have time to read a lot of comics and just don’t know which ones are good so if any of y’all have suggestions for me and this anon, that would be really swell!!!! Sorry I can’t be of any more help!!

This is more about feminism/gayness as reflected in the new Ghostbusters movie. It seems some lesbians adore the flick’s evidently NOT pandering to heteronormative fashion – the four ‘Busters dress in harass-ugly outfits as a butchie call-out.
You lovely friends may not know that I have a “serious” blog, too – one I started long before coming to Tumblr. It’s largely politics, given our Trump catastrophe – but I’m based in Washington, DC, and occasionally I can beat most of the media.
